About us - WHAT IS POCKET PT

Pocket PT is designed for all abilities and all goals when it comes to health and fitness.  It has been designed by James and Mia who have been in the fitness industry their entire lives, they have trained 1,000’s of clients and owned a number of fitness businesses and facilities and is created to give you all the tools you need to achieve your results.

Pocket PT is a web and app based platform available on your PC, mac, IOS or android device with as much or as little support available to you as you need with the included benefit on an amazing members only Facebook group and community to our pro members where you can interact with other members, ask questions and we give advise, lives, seminars and much more.

MEET THE TRAINERS

James and Mia are a real life “couples who train together, stay together” example and have been together for as long as they can remember and have two amazing children called Isabel and Harrison.

They have a genuine passion for health and fitness, but as busy parents the most important thing they understand is that it all has to be realistic, fun, sustainable and make life more enjoyable.  They are fortunate to work in an industry where they get to live their dream and share it with others having transformed 1,000’s of lives over the years and built lifelong friendships along the way

James

From an early age I had a passion for the gym, growing up watching Arnold and Sly so I set about learning how to train and I loved every second. Originally my career wasn't in fitness, I soon learned I needed a career that was a joy to do every day and didn't feel like work, and with a passion for fitness it was an easy choice. I moved into personal training, then group personal training, hosted seminars on technique, nutrition, mindset and much more and loved every second. We then went on to open a large gym. Our aim is to give everyone the knowledge to make informed choices and to show how simple it can be to make small changes to get you the results you deserve. Health and fitness is actually very simple, but it can be quite hard to implement, and that's where we come on.

Mia

I have always loved health and fitness and originall trained as a dancer. I did many shows and then went on to teach all dance from tap, modern, jazz, ballet and much more to all ages from 6 months to 90 years old and loved every second.
Having started to help a lot of people with their general fitness goals I decided to start personal training, so I sully qualified and loved every second, soon moving into group PT as my books were full and evertually starting our my own group training business with James and going on to open an incredible gym with him as well.
We work really well together and bounce off each other, and we consider ourselves so lucky to work in such an amazing industry where we get the opportunity to meet and help new people every day.
